Sangeet Bangla on the 14th of November '06 was re-christened as Junior Sangeet Bangla. The channel was transformed into a platform for the children, of the children and by the children in the form of a forum of Inter-school Juniors festival. The festival was held at Nicco park.

Over 25 premium schools from all over Kolkata participated in the event. A total of 141 kids participated and enjoyed. There was singing and dancing, recitation and instrument playing and fun all around. Channel VJs along with the celebrities of the city added more frolic to the event.
